Twas the Night Before Christmas

All the elves were stirring and checking their Glocks
Full kit was hung in the staging area with care
In hopes the Irene would soon be declared
When over the comms there arose such a clatter
Elves hit their stations to see ‘what was the matter?’
One flew to the window, the rest grabbed their packs
They shouted in glee, the reindeer were tacked
St. Nicolas emerged with co-pilot in tow
The chief locked the 240’s, they were ready to roll…
