A Baltimore woman took police up on their offer to pay cash for unwanted firearms by making a deal.

Darlene told Fox Baltimore she had a plan to trade in the gun at the city’s “buyback” event held this week “to upgrade to a better weapon,” showing the reporter a small semi-automatic pistol in a cardboard box.

The gun in question? “Ah,” she says, scrunching her nose and shaking her head, “It’s a 9mm,” to the joy of .45 ACP fanboys everywhere.

Baltimore police were offering a sliding scale during the event, promising city residents who brought in firearms to one of three locations anywhere from $100 to $500, with a price point of $200 for semi-autos such as Darlene’s, who says she hasn’t quite figured out what she will get next.
