Sightmark delivers new ReadyFire LW-R5 pistol laser sight

Optics and accessories maker Sightmark announced a new addition to their ReadyFire laser sight line last week called the ReadyFire LW-R5.

According to a company press release, the LW-R5 is designed for use with full-sized pistols and its lightweight 2.3 ounces adds no significant weight to the handgun. Mounted between the trigger guard and muzzle of a Picatinny or Weaver rail, the LW-R5 gives shooters a 3-inch red laser dot visual on the target. The LWR5’s laser extends 20 yards during the day and 300 yards at night. Shooters activate the laser with a user-friendly slide switch.

Powered by two AG13 batteries, the laser sight lasts up to seven hours. Both water resistant and shockproof, the LW-R5 has an operating temperature range of zero to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, offering shooters a durable, rugged design.

Available in a matte black finish, Sightmark’s LW-R5 retails for $47.99 and is available through the company’s website.
