Punching through sheets of ‘bullet proof’ barriers with a .50 BMG (VIDEO)

Edwin Sarkissian came across a sheet of the type of ballistically resistant acrylic sheets like the ones used in bank windows and stacked it eight slices deep.

Then Sarkissian tapped in a Serbu BFG-50A stoked with rip-tipped 12.7x99mm APIT rounds to see just what kind of magic he could make happen against more than a foot of high grade polymer.

The shrapnel almost came back to bite him. Yikes. Don’t try this stuff at home.
