The adjustable foregrip is available with adapters for Picatinny Rails, Keymod, and M-Lok. Twisting the bottom half of the grip loosens or tightens the locking ring for adjustment. Once tightened firmly into position, the grip is fairly rigid, but it could be tightened more gently to make it easier to adjust on the fly.
Initially, my preference was to run the grip swept slightly forward and not biased to the left or right to facilitate shooting from either shoulder. As a plane-Jane foregrip it runs just fine, the knurling provides a very positive gripping texture and I found it enhanced control of the carbine in multiple positions. I am not a big fan of the C-clamp grip -personal preference- but I did attempt to set it up that way and found it a bit too wide for me to run effectively in that configuration.
When I started thinking outside the box, the true versatility hit me. What about using it to push onto a branch or barricade for stabilization:
What about hooking it onto a railing or wall to soak up recoil for lightning-fast follow-up shots:
What about running it 90° As a flat surface support for extra stability for long-range shots:
A little creativity goes a long way with versatile tools like this. Keep in mind, do not mount one of these on the forend of a pistol configuration weapon, as this will run you afoul of the BATFE.
Another useful application is the ability to fold the grip tight to the hand guard to fit in tight storage or transport cases.
The bottom cap of the grip screws off to reveal storage space for optics batteries or other small items.
All told, I never would have suspected how useful the adjustable feature on this grip is, but I found it super useful. I used the standard version, but they also make a stubby version that is 3/8” shorter… which probably would have suited my shooting style and application a bit better.
Cost 5/5 It’s a fair price for the product, it just runs a bit more than other foregrips, but the others don’t swivel 360° now do they?
Durability 5/5 Solid, and will continue to work regardless of minor wear to the swivel-ball from use. If it clogs up, just blow it out with compressed air or wipe it down and you are back in business.
Functionality 4.5/5 Does just what it was designed to do and does it well, the angles at the top of the grip can be a little pinchy, but nothing obnoxious.
