Eric from IV8888 gathered every bit of gel they could muster and a baffle stack of plywood to see just how deep a giant Minié-style projectile about the size of a twinkie would go with some cannon grade black powder behind it, and it still wasn’t enough.

We are talking about something like 45,000 ft./lbs. of energy here.
