A-10 Warthogs find 116 fuel trucks in Syrian desert. Brrrt ensues (VIDEO)

The Pentagon on Wednesday released video of coalition air strikes against ISIL fuel trucks destroyed in air attacks this week.

Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF–OIR), responsible for the efforts in the region against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, reports that no less than 116 fuel trucks were left smoking as part of Operation Tidal Wave II, designed to cut off the terror group’s means of funding its military operations.

The hits were achieved by low-altitude strafing runs by A-10s and by orbiting AC-130 gunships near Abu Kamal, Syria, on Nov. 15. To minimize civilian casualties, warning leaflets were dropped in the target area beforehand.

Although there is no sound in video gun camera footage, which has been redacted for operational security, just imagine lots of low “brrrrt” as 30mm foot applies to ass.
