The Slow Mo Guys somehow made it into Purdue University and borrowed a giant combustion tube that they repurposed into a Bond weapon.

The tube, used for testing “flame acceleration and deflagration to detonation transition” by using a burst of flame traveling at about 6,000fps, just basically blows stuff up in lay terms.

The target: an old iMac complete with speakers, keyboard and pressboard desk.

The vid is a bit slow but really gets good at about the 2:10 mark. Kind of reminds you of that old Maxell commercial, but with a lot more flame.
